WATCH! “Cowboy” Cerrone is looking scary-good before UFC title fight

By BJPENN.COM News - October 25, 2015

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone has one of the biggest fights of his career approaching and he is training with some of the best to get him ready for it! Cerrone will be stepping into the octagon with UFC Lightweight Champion Rafael dos Anjos at “UFC on FOX 17” on December 17th. It will be the first time he is challenging for the championship.

Cerrone is looking to end his three-fight losing streak when fighting for gold by channeling the momentum he brings with him from his insane eight-fight win streak. “Cupcake” Tate recently tussled with “Cowboy” and it looks like they’re both ready to get back in the cage as soon as possible!

Miesha Tate currently does not have a fight lined up for her as her championship opportunity was taken from her when they gave the shot to Holly Holm instead. After the conclusion of “UFC on FOX 16” in July, Dana White said that Tate would likely get the next shot. Tate handily defeated Jessica Eye at the event and all signs were pointing to “Rousey vs. Tate III” until Rousey appeared on Good Morning America and shocked the world with her “UFC 193” announcement.

The future for Tate in the octagon in unknown, but Cerrone is looking scary good and he could be the next UFC Lightweight Champion! Check out the highlights of his training footage in the video above.

Who do you think will win when Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos finally clash in the octagon? Was dos Anjos’ title win over Anthony Pettis impressive enough to warrant an immediate rematch if he loses to Cerrone? Share your thoughts and make your predictions in the comment section below!
