By BJPENN.COM News - September 14, 2014

UFC Fight Night 51 marked the second highest attended UFC event in Brazil this year out of a total of 4 events so far. At the post-fight press conference for the event UFC executive Grace Tourinho, who was hosting the post-fight press conference spoke about the UFC’s plans for holding a minimum of seven events in Brazil in 2015.

“It’s official for Uberlandia on Nov. 8, and we already have four fights official, and we’re going to Barueri on Dec. 20. We’re going to Rio (de Janeiro) on Oct. 25, and the tickets are almost sold out. We will have great fights and a packed arena.”

“Our plan for the next year is to do at least the same number of events we did this year, but bigger events. We’re still working on the coaches for next season of The Ultimate Fighter and the weight classes, but it’s not a done deal yet. We’ll probably have more news about that on Oct. 25. We definitely won’t do less than seven events in Brazil next year.”
