A flyweight bout between Jon Delos Reyes and Neil Seery kicked off the ‘UFC Fight Night Dublin’ main card.
Both fighters started off quickly, but it was the 36-year-old Irishman who seemed to land the better strikes in round 1.
After some solid grappling exchanges to begin round 2, Reyes eventually secured a body lock and attempted to slam Seery to the canvas.
However, the position allowed “2 Tap” to sink in a guillotine choke on the way to the ground, which would eventually force “The Heat” to tap.
With the victory Neil Seery (16-11 MMA) improved his octagon record to 3-2, while Jon Delos Reyes (8-5 MMA) is now 1-2 under the UFC banner.
Neil Seery submits Jon Delos Reyes at 4:12 of round 2 (guillotine choke)
