UFC Fight Night 39 Results: Nijem Dominates Dariush, Picks up First Round TKO Win

Beneil Dariush and Ramsey Nijem had the honors of kicking off the main card portion of ‘UFC Fight Night 39’. This contest took place in the lightweight division and was scheduled for three rounds of five minutes. However, the fight did not even leave the first round.

Ramsey Nijem found a comfortable striking distance before Beneil Dariush could even get into first gear. Dariush attempted to get some momentum going but every combination he threw was cut off by Nijem who was one step quicker the entire fight.

Nijem dropped him with a left hook and jumped on him to try and end the fight. Dariush attempted to make it back to his feet, but he was not given much room with work with. He was not able to recover and ultimately lost due to referee stoppage.

Ramsey Nijem is now on a two-fight winning streak.
