Because two big events just aren’t enough, the UFC has decided to go ahead and add a third fight card to an already stacked weekend of fights.

The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will take place on Friday, Dec. 10 in Las Vegas. After that will be UFC 194, set for Saturday, Dec. 12. Both cards are already being packed with amazing fights, especially UFC 194, but, the promotion went ahead and added another event, set to take place on Dec. 10, a Thursday.

No fights have been announced for the new event, which is assumed to be UFC Fight Night 80. The news was announced by UFC president Dana White, during the ‘GO BIG’ press conference. White said a lot of fighters still needed fights, so they went ahead and just made another event.

So now we will have back-to-back-to-back events, on the 10th, 11th and 12th of December. They will all take place in Las Vegas. The new event is scheduled to take place in The Cosmopolitan.

The TUF 22 Finale will be headlined by an amazing featherweight fight between Chad Mendes and Frankie Edgar. On Saturday, at UFC 194, we’ll (hopefully) get to see Jose Aldo take on Conor McGregor to unify the title belt, along with Chris Weidman vs. Luke Rockhold for the middleweight title and tons, seriously, tons of other great fights.

Thoughts on the UFC doing three shows in three days? Too much?
