TJ Grants was supposed to fight Benson Henderson for the UFC lightweight title after a picture perfect dismantling of Gray Maynard.
Unfortunately, the Canadian based fighter suffered a concussion in training last July and was forced to withdraw.
He again, was supposed to return in December against Anthony Pettis, but as of today, Grant isn’t even cleared to resume training full-time and as a result is shelved with the same injury.
ESPN got the scoop:
As of today, T.J. Grant STILL not cleared to resume training due to concussion in July. Remember when some said it was a conspiracy injury?
