Tony Ferguson has been on a tear recently, going on a 6-fight win streak that has seen him finish 4 of those 6 fights.

He will face his toughest test in undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov at the TUF 22 finale on December 11th, and the way he sees it, if he hands ‘The Eagle’ his first loss, he deserves a title shot.

He spoke to MMAJunkie to discuss the situation.

“What has everybody seen from me? A lot of stuff. So I’m going to put something new, something scary, and I’m going to put Khabib on his haunches. I’m going to make him go on defense mode.”

“But I’m switching some stuff up, I’m adding some new toys, and he’s going to have his hands full. I’m planning on coming out victorious.”

“(Nurmagomedov) beat dos Anjos. If I go in there and I mop this dude up, I’m getting my title shot. I don’t need a belt to tell me how good I am, but I guarantee it will look good around my waist.”
