The UFC returns to Toronto on September 21 for UFC 165

UFC officials announced Tuesday night that the organziation will return to Toronto in September for a pay-per-view event that will serve as UFC 165.

UFC 165 will mark the fourth event held in Toronto, the most recent being UFC 152 which took place at the Air Canada Centre on September 22, 2012.

UFC 152 was headlined by a light heavyweight title fight, which saw champion Jon Jones retain his title with a fourth-round submission victory over Vitor Belfort.

The promotion’s first stadium show, which was held at the Rogers Centre for UFC 129, drew a North American record 55,724 fans and a gate in excess of $12 million.
