UFC on Fox 8 saw a recent shake up when Miesha Tate was pulled from her bout with Liz Carmouche to replace Cat Zingano as a coach on ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. With Tate now facing Rousey, this left Liz Carmouche in the dark until now.

MMAFighting confirmed UFC newcomer Jessica “Bate Estaca” Andrade will be stepping in for Miesha Tate at UFC on Fox 8. Liz Carmouche wants to show the world that she has what it takes to dethrone Ronda Rousey by defeating Andrade in impressive fashion.

Brazil’s Jessica Andrade will be walking into the octagon with a record of 9-2, with all nine of her victories coming by way of stoppage. With four knockouts and five submissions to her name, “Bate Estaca” (Portugese for “battering ram”) will be looking to surprise the world when she knocks off one of the world’s best fighters in her weight class.
