All those boxing fans who didn’t quite get what they wanted from Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacuiao can rest assured that they’ll get their moneys worth on November 21.
Canelo Alvarez vs. Miguel Cotto has finally been booked and made official after months of negotiations. The fight will take place on Nov. 21 at The Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The fight will be broadcast on HBO PPV and will take place at a catchweight of 155 lbs.
Canelo took to Instagram to announce the news:
Who’s excited for this boxing super fight?? I mean it’s hard to imagine that it will be what May vs. Pac gave us. Yes, Mayweather is a great boxer who is amazing at not getting hit and moving around the ring, but that doesn’t make for a very interesting fight.
