It’s official: Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and “Lil Nog” Antonio Rogerio Nogueira will meet in the octagon at UFC 190 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

UFC has announced the second fight for UFC 190 and it will be a rematch between Mauricio “Shogun” Rua and “Lil Nog” Antonio Rogerio Nogueira.

This will not be the first time these two Brazilians have gone toe-to-toe before. Shogun and Nogueira met in the PRIDE Fighting Championship Middleweight Grand Prix quarterfinals in 2005. The fight will go down as one of the greatest fights in its company’s history as they duked it out and went the distance.

Rua defeated Nogueira by way of unanimous decision and would go on to win the entire tournament by defeating Alistair Overeem and Ricardo Arona in the same night.

Since his loss to Shogun in 2005, Lil Nog has gone 10-4.

Who do you think will win? Do you think it will be Fight of the Night or will Ronda Rousey steal the show again? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
