In many of Ronda Rousey’s fights, there has been animosity between the champ and her opponents, however after the fight is over, so is their ‘beef.’

Rousey explained on UFC 193 Embedded why she has a love-hate relationship with her opponents.

“This person is trying to piggy back off of all my work I have done my whole life, and they’re trying to steal that from me,” Rousey said. “And in that sense, I’m offended by their presence. I hate them for trying to hurt me, trying to take away something that I care so much about.”

“After I beat them, the joy the haven given me, I love them for it,” Rousey continued. “It’s by the time I walk out of that arena, and I’ve won, and have the belt around my waist, I’m thanking god for that person for coming into my life.”

Rousey faces Holy Holm this Saturday at UFC 193 in Melbourne Australia at the Etihad Stadium.
