Report: Rory MacDonald Vs. Hector Lombard Targeted For 2016

Well UFC welterweight Hector Lombard has been asking for a fight with Rory MacDonald and it looks like he’ll be getting it.

According to a report on Wednesday’s UFC Tonight, the UFC is putting the fight together and both fighters are close to signing and making things official.

The fight would be expected to go down sometime in 2016.

Lombard is coming off of his year suspension for testing positive for steroids while MacDonald is coming off of that brutal war against welterweight champion Robbie Lawler at UFC 189, where he lost via TKO in the fifth and final round.

Lombard has won two straight, which would be three straight but his win over Josh Burkman was overturned to a No contest following his positive test.
