The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale will feature a headlining fight between two of the best featherweights in the world when former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar takes on Team Alpha Males’ Chad Mendes in a fight that should produce the next title challenger.

The fight will go down just a day before UFC 194, where the 145 lb. king, Jose Aldo, will take on interim champ Conor McGregor to unify the belts and finally settle their feud.

Ahead of the fights, oddsmakers have made Edgar the early betting favorite over the multiple-time title challenger Mendes.

Here are the odds according to BestFightOdds.com:

Frankie Edgar: -154

Chad Mendes: +144

Edgar is currently riding a four fight win streak, most recently defeating Urijah Faber in a five round decision.

Mendes on the other hand is coming off of a tough loss to McGregor at UFC 189, where he was stopped in the second round after taking the fight on only two weeks notice.
