Michael Bisping vs. Tim Kennedy set to headline the ‘TUF Nations: Finale’ in Quebec City

By Chris Taylor - January 30, 2014

Michael “The Count” Bisping has received the thumbs-up from doctors and will now headline the “TUF Nations: Finale” opposite fellow middleweight Tim Kennedy (17-4 MMA, 2-0 UFC).

UFC President Dana White made both announcements today.

Bisping has not been seen inside the octagon since an April 2013 victory over Alan Belcher, due to a  detached retina. Prior to his victory over “The Talent”, Bisping had suffered a head-kick KO loss to now #1 contender Vitor Belfort.

Meanwhile, Tim Kennedy has gone 2-0 since joining the UFC ranks. In his latest outing, he earned “Knockout of the night” honors for his victory over Rafael Natal at the “UFC: Fight For The Troops 3.” Prior to that, he defeated Roger Gracie by way of decision.

The live finale for “The Ultimate Fighter Nations: Canada vs. Australia,” takes place at Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, Canada on April 16. The evenings main card will air one FOX Sports 1.
