Matt Brown Looks To Chase UFC Record With KO Of Lawler

Matt “The Immortal” Brown has gotten the reputation as a finisher in the UFC. Of his 12 wins in his UFC career, Brown has finished 10 of his opponents, 9 by way of knockout, and one by way of submission.

This Saturday when he faces off against Robbie Lawler, Brown is not only looking to secure himself a shot at Johny Hendricks welterweight championship, he can potentially move into second place for not only the longest active win streak in the UFC, but most consecutive finishes as well.

Brown is currently on a 7-fight win streak, sitting in 3rd place behind Chris Weidman with 8, and Jon Jones with 11.

When it comes to most consecutive KO finishes, Brown is tied with Thiago Alves in 2nd place at 5 consecutive KO’s. Ahead of him is Chuck Liddell with 7. However Brown takes first place when looking at most consecutive finishes in the UFC’s active roster.
