UFC welterweight, ‘The Immortal’ Matt Brown, recently talked about Anderson Silva’s one year suspension and stated that he’s all for Silva getting a lifetime ban.
The fan favorite fighter didn’t hold back on ‘The Great MMA Debate’ podcast and said he has no respect for any cheater, including Silva.
Check it out!
“I have no respect for people that cheat. Like I’ve said many times before, I think he should have been (suspended) four years, take his whole damn purse away, if not a lifetime (ban). I don’t see anything wrong with a lifetime ban.”
Do agree with Brown, should Silva have received a tougher penalty? It should be noted that Silva’s failed test came before the UFC ‘s new drug policy, so the punishments were much less than he would have received under the new program.
Does Silva’s past credentials and P4P status effect the way you think of him? If this was any other UFC fighter do you think more people would be calling for a harder punishment?
