Mark Hunt asked Dana White to fight in two weeks after UFC 193 win

By BJPENN.COM News - November 16, 2015

Mark Hunt walked into the octagon at “UFC 193” with a point to make: He is still fresh enough to make another run at the UFC Heavyweight Championship despite his age. Hunt knew full and well that a loss to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, who isn’t even in the top-ten of the division, could lay any talks of him making another run at the championship to rest.

“The Super Samoan” made sure to end the fight quick and laid Silva to rest in less than five minutes. Both heavyweights landed their fair share of significant shots, but it was Hunt who would land more total blows as well as the finishing overhand punch in the third minute of the first round. Silva went down fast and the referee stepped in to wave the fight off before “Bigfoot” could take any unnecessary punishment.

Hunt celebrated in front of his fellow Australians but is not taking any time off from fighting; He is looking to make his way back into the octagon in just two weeks!
