Manny Pacquiao Slams Mayweather Over ‘Banned IV’ Report

By now you’ve probably heard about the report, stating that Floyd Mayweather Jr. used a banned IV the day before the Manny Pacquiao fight and all the other weird details regarding USADA. If not, check it out HERE.

Mayweather had since responded, along with USADA who claim the report is mostly false. Now, it’s time for Mayweather’s opponent for that fight, Manny Pacquiao.

According to this sports writer for the Philippine Star, Pacquiao had this to say:

What do you guys make of all this? Obviously just because he used an IV it doesn’t mean he used any banned substances, but it does raise the question as to why he needed so much fluid, when his weigh-cut wasn’t even that drastic. Also, even more troubling is how USADA apparently handled the situation.

Pacquiao’s longtime promoter, Bob Arum, also commented on the situation, to BoxingJunkie.com.

“It is very disturbing. Yeah, I am outraged. But I don’t know what we can do about it. I can’t change the result.”

“I am not casting aspersions at anyone. But I have always wondered why does (Mayweather) leave it to the last minute before he announces the fight.”
