Kawajiri: ‘I May Be Able to Win UFC Gold with New Drug Testing Policy’

Kawajiri wins

“I heard from July that the drug-testing policy is going to be very strict. So I think [without] those monsters of fighters in the UFC who may have had a problem with these things, I may be able to win this division now.”

“I signed with the UFC for one reason, which was to become the featherweight champion.”

Tatsuya Kawajiri talked at the UFC Fight Night 69 post-fight press conference about his chances of winning a UFC title now that the drug testing will be more strict. He believes he’ll be able to reach the top with all the steroids out of the picture.

Do you think the new policy will shake things up in all the UFC’s divisions?
