Jon Jones Wants A Pro-Boxing Match Against A Klitschko Brother

By BJPENN.COM News - September 18, 2013

The Klitschko brothers are the most dominant boxing duo in their sport. Collectively they hold every single major heavyweight title in the world.

They serve as promoters, athletes and do their fair share of charity work in Germany which has seen them obtain much success and popularity in their home country.

UFC light-heavyweight champion, Jon Jones, believes that his boxing is up to snuff now that he’s had the time to work on it and the champ wants a crack at the Klitschko’s one day in the future.

“The thought of boxing has become way more real to me,” Jones said during an interview with Fox 11’s James Koh.

“One of the Klitschko brothers,” Jones said regarding a possible opponent. “It’s been something I’ve really, really been thinking about and maybe we can entertain that in the future.”

We’ve seen what happens when boxers make the shift to MMA. But what if the talent goes the other way?

One thing is certain, Jones has to get past the hands of Alexander Gustafsson this weekend before talks of switching sports can even become a partial reality.
