JDS Hoping For Fourth Fight With Cain

By BJPENN.COM News - February 24, 2014

If at first you don’t succeed…

I mean, ‘If at first you DO succeed, but suffer miserably second and third… Then try, try again’.

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Junior dos Santos, recently spoke to Tatame.com about his future goals as a UFC heavyweight. After getting dismantled by Cain Velasquez for the second straight time, JDS is stuck on the outside, looking in, at what used to be his division.

Would a fourth fight end any different? JDS seems to think so.

“I think I will meet Velasquez again in a title fight. He says I won’t but I don’t think so, I’m still the number 1 guy from the divisional ranking. Of course I won’t fight for the belt so soon but if Cain establish himself as the champion and I obtain two or three wins, I believe we will meet again. He is a guy that I admire a lot. He was knocked out, learned with his mistakes, blocked my game and beat me. Now it’s me who is trying to evolve.”

Thoughts?
