“Invicta FC 11” saw an action packed night of fights take place live from Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California! There was a total of four stoppages and it was a shame the card aired on UFC Fight Pass because it was an event that even a casual mixed martial arts fan would have enjoyed.

Aldana Made Quick Work of Schneider
Irene Aldana def. Colleen Schneider by way of Submission (RNC) 1:05 of Round 1

What better way to kick off the main card than a quick submission! There is not much to write about with this fight, but Aldana was able to slap the rear naked choke on Schneider very quickly for the win.

Alexa Grasso vs. Mizuki Inoue
Alexa Grasso def. Mizuki Inoue by way of Unanimous Decision

Mizuki took a serious beating in the first two rounds and it looked like she was well on her way to a decision loss. Grasso outstruck her in the first round and when Mizuki walked back to her corner you could see her face was cut up in several locations. Mizuki tried to rally back in the second, but she found herself almost getting submitted. Grasso trapped her in a triangle and attempted to put Mizuki away with a kimura, but the hold was not locked in and Mizuki was able to make it to the third.

Mizuki took the third round and she gained full mount a couple times, but she was not able to do anything with it and Grasso won by way of unanimous decision.

Cyborg Dominated Tweet
Cristiane Cyborg Justino def. Charmaine Tweet by way of TKO (Strikes) :46 of Round 1

Again, not much to write about with this fight? Cyborg blasted through Tweet and showed she is the alpha-female in this weight class. Will she move on to bigger and better things with the UFC? Share your thoughts in the comment section below!
