Holly Holm

Ronda Rousey’s quick disposal of Bethe Correia at “UFC 190” led fans to believe that the trilogy between her and Miesha Tate would finally happen, but UFC pulled a fast one on “Cupcake” this week. Holly Holm was unexpectedly announced as the next challenger to Rousey’s throne and everybody from Tate to Holm were surprised at the news. Holm informed Inside MMA that she was prepared to face Sarah Kaufman next, but is going to make the most of her opportunity against “Rowdy”.

“I’m so excited about the announcement today. It was definitely unexpected. I was supposed to fight Sarah Kaufman… which is my friend and teammate, so this is definitely a turn of events. It’s something totally new and I just want to make the most of it. I’m so excited and I love when a challenge is thrown at me… I really wanna jump in. It just makes it exciting. I feel like I’m feeling life and I’m just so happy.”
