Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington moved to co-main event status at UFC 184

The highly anticipated octagon debut of former world boxing champion Holly Holm (7-0 MMA) will now serve as the co-main event for UFC 184 this February in Los Angeles.

Holly Holm takes on Raquel Pennington (5-4 MMA) at the event.

UFC officials announced the move shortly after news broke that Chris Weidman suffered a rib injury that would force the champ out of his scheduled main event title fight with Vitor Belfort.

With the moves, the UFC 184 fight card now looks as follows:

UFC 184 PPV Main Event:

135 lbs.: UFC Women’s Bantamweight Champion Ronda Rousey vs. Cat Zingano

UFC 184 PPV Co-Main Event:

135 lbs.: Holly Holm vs. Raquel Pennington

UFC 184 Main Card/Preliminary Card (PPV, FOX Sports 1, Fight Pass):

170 lbs.: Josh Koscheck vs. Jake Ellenberger
185 lbs.: Mark Munoz vs. Roan Carneiro
135 lbs.: Roman Salazar vs. Norifumi Yamamoto
170 lbs.: Alan Jouban vs. Richard Walsh
170 lbs.: James Krause vs. Valmir Lazaro
265 lbs.: Derrick Lewis vs. Ruan Potts
