If this happened in Hawaii, we would be congratulating Thiago on his new Hawaiian Tattoos instead of posting up this story about one of the nastiest facial injuries in UFC history.

Last Saturday, in a Fight of the Night garnering effort, ATT’s Thiago Tavares fell short in his fight against Brian Ortgea, and the reminders of battle are shown on his face.

It’s a double gash, and it’s nasty:
