Glover Planning On Challenging Jones vs. Gustafsson Winner

By BJPENN.COM News - September 16, 2013

“I expect this to be a tough fight, but I believe Jones is more complete. His wrestling and jiu-jitsu are better, and he will win. I believe he will take [Gustafsson] down and finish [the fight]. That’s the way I see this fight going.”

“I don’t know if the UFC will [let me walk in the cage to challenge the winner], but the challenge is already made. There’s no place to run. I expect to fight in early 2014, maybe February. I hope it doesn’t take too much longer to fight for the title.”

In an interview with MMAFighting.com, Glover Teixeira explained his plans following this weekend’s main event between Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson.

Teixeira is coming off an impressive first round KO over Ryan Bader. It marked his fifth straight UFC win and earned him the next crack at the UFC title.
