Fans Invited To UFC 184 Fight Week Events

On Saturday, the UFC will hit the Staples Center in Los Angeles for UFC 184, which will be headlined by Ronda Rousey, and Cat Zingano as Zingano looks to dethrone Rousey.

Ahead of the event, the UFC has invited fans to the fight-week events in Los Angeles. Below is the information you need to know if you plan on attending.

On Wednesday, the UFC will hold open workouts for main event fighters Ronda Rousey, and Cat Zingano, as well as for co-main event fighters Holly Holm, and Raquel Pennington. Also working out will be the main event, and co-main event women fighters for the Invicta FC 11 card, which goes down on Friday night from Los Angeles as well, including Cris Cyborg, and Charmaine Tweet, who will be fighting in the main event, as well as Alexa Grasso, and Mizuki Inoue, who are fighting in the co-main event. The open workouts will go down at the UFC gym in Torrance California starting at 11 a.m. PT. The Invicta FC fighters will kick off the event in 15-minute intervals, with the UFC fighters taking the mats at 1 p.m. PT, starting with Cat Zingano, and working up to Ronda Rousey.

On Thursday the ‘UFC 184 Ultimate Media Day’ goes down at Club Nokia starting at 12:30 p.m. PT, with main card fighters speaking to the media at 1 p.m., and UFC President Dana White hosting staredowns for the fighters at 2 p.m. PT. All UFC 184 main-card fighters are scheduled to attend this event.

On Friday the UFC will host the weigh-ins at the LA Live Event Deck at 4 p.m. PT. The doors to the public will open at 3 p.m. PT, with UFC light heavyweight title challenger Anthony ‘Rumble’ Johnson holding a Q&A with UFC Fight Club members at 2 p.m. PT.

On Saturday, prior to UFC 184, the uFC will host a “Welcome To The Show” event at the LA Live Event Deck at 11 a.m. PT, and will include upcoming UFC card headliners, who will speak with media and fans. Fighters on hand will include: lightweight champion Anthony Pettis and challenger Rafael dos Anjos, women’s strawweight champ Carla Esparza, and challenger Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Demian Maia, and Ryan LaFlare, Chad Mendes, and Ricardo Lamas, Lyoto Machida, and Luke Rockhold, bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw, and challenger Renan Barao (former champion), flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson, and challenger Kyoji Horiguchi, Frankie Edgar, and Urijah Faber, light heavyweight champ Jon Jones and challenger Anthony Johnson, and middleweight champ Chris Weidman, and Vitor Belfort.

Also during the “Welcome To The Show” event, there will be a “Fan Village”, where fans can meet fighters for autographs and photos, as well as visit the Bud Light beer garden. UFC Hall Of Famers Matt Hughes, and Chuck Liddell will take the stage at 2 p.m. along with Jessica Eye, Felice Herrig, and UFC Octagon Girl Arianny Celeste.
