Looks like things are just getting started between UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Team Alpha Male’s Urijah Faber. The two will be coaching opposite each other in the next season of The Ultimate Fighter and the trash talk has already been going on for a while.

They won’t fight at the end of the season, but that doesn’t mean things won’t get heated on the show.

Faber had this to say about McGregor’s performance during his fight against Chad Mendes, on The MMA Hour:

“First off, Conor McGregor was a tough dude, no doubt. He was eating elbows, taking punches, and this guy likes to fight. He waited for his opportunity and finished the fight when he had his opportunity.”

“I don’t think Conor showed he’s a good grappler in the least bit.”
