EXCLUSIVE | Louis Fisette’s TUF 18 Fighter Blog Week 8

By Chris Taylor - October 31, 2013

Louis “Petit Pain” Fisette (6-1 MMA) is one of the youngest talents in MMA’s rich 135-pound division. The 23 year-old Canadian bantamweight is a contestant on this season of (TUF:18) The Ultimate Fighter: Tate vs. Rousey.

Here is what Louis had to say about Week 8 of his ‘TUF’ experience:

This weeks episode is really hectic! Not much to say about this one, Cody missing weight really blew our minds… No one really saw that coming at all. His weight seemed fine, but we also have our doubts about him maybe not being 100% honest about his weight either. It’s almost impossible to say what happened. Was he just not able to make weight? Or did him missing his wife and kid have a role to play in all this? I honestly don’t know, I really do feel bad for the guy. He’s a good guy, young and talented. I think he acted a little immature when it came to dieting, and just wasn’t disciplined. Like I told him, shit happens then we move on! No point in living in the past! Onward and upward!

As far as the fight goes, standing it was pretty close. Peggy landed some good shots, but eventually Sarah got the takedown. From there she had some NASTY ground and pound. Peggy offered up the arm and Sarah took it! I knew Sarah was good from having trained with her, but damn did she lay a beat down! I don’t want to take anything away from Peggy, but that ground and pound was serious! Overall good fight for Sarah!

Finally we get the match ups for the semis! We have Davey vs. Anthony, Mike vs. Chris, Sarah vs. Julianna and my personal favorite, Raquel vs. Jessica! I just love the way Rocky fights, she super tough and super skilled! Jessica is a boxing world champ, that speaks for itself! Good things to come from the semis, I promise you that!
