EXCLUSIVE | Louis Fisette’s TUF 18 Fighter Blog Week 11

By Chris Taylor - November 14, 2013

Louis “Petit Pain” Fisette (6-1 MMA) is one of the youngest talents in MMA’s rich 135-pound division. The 23 year-old Canadian bantamweight is a contestant on this season of (TUF:18) The Ultimate Fighter: Tate vs. Rousey.

Here is what Louis had to say about Week 11 of his ‘TUF’ experience:

Ronda had this thing where she loved to rip up her shirts. She came over and had at some of the girls shirts! I think it was nice of her to come by and take some of the girls mind’s off of the competition. I’m sure some of the girls needed a break before the semis started.

It’s funny seeing Miesha’s take on the “favoritism,” and I do think that often times Julianna just asked for more help than the rest of us. No harm in that. But, to all of us, it looked like they were playing favorites. Obviously once the season aires, it seems like Miesha was just helping out the people who wanted the help the most. I don’t blame her, I agree. Holdsworth was definitely one of the hardest working guys I’ve ever met. And Julianna was the “squeaky wheel,” so she got the grease. I know Miesha was just trying to do her best, and I think overall she did a good job!

Once again, going into the fight not many people gave Julianna a shot in hell. But, she proved in her first fight she is tough as nails! Since the first fight between Sarah and Julianna was pretty one sided, we somewhat expected the same thing to happy this time. But once again Julianna showed off her toughness! Like I said in my interview, Julianna is not the most skilled fighter as far as technique goes. But what she lacks in technique, she make up for in heart!

Sarah put up a good fight, but Julianna is just so aggressive, and hard to deal with. She overwhelms opponents and gives them zero space to breath. Great fight on Julianna’s end. Softened Sarah up, and then finished with the guillotine she had been drilling prior to the fight. Congrats to her on making it to the finals!
