A lightweight bout between Evan Dunham (14-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) and Mark Bocek (11-5 MMA, 7-5 UFC) is the latest addition to the “TUF Nations: Finale” event set for April 16 in Quebec City, Canada.
UFC officials confirmed the booking today, but did not say where on the fight card the bout would fall.
Evan Dunham was last seen in action at November 2013’s UFC 167 event in Las Vegas, where he suffered a second-round submission loss to Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone. The loss was Evan’s second in a row, as he had previously fell short on the judges score cards when he took Rafael dos Anjos to a decision-ruling in May. Dunham’s last win came over veteran Gleison Tibau at February 2013’s UFC 156 event.
Canadian lightweight, Mark Bocek, will make his octagon return on home soil, this after a 17 month layoff due to injuries. His last bout was a loss, as he, like Dunham, fell short with the judges when taking on perennial contender Rafael dos Anjos.
The ‘TUF Nations: Finale’ takes place on April 16 live from the Colisée Pepsi in Quebec City, Canada. The event is headlined by a middleweight bout between Michael “The Count” Bisping and Tim Kennedy. The evenings main card will air live on FOX Sports 1.
