Ellenberger-Gastelum, Sanchez-Parke Added to UFC 180 In Mexico

The UFC’s top Mexican fighters are hitting Mexico City this November with “UFC 180: Velasquez vs. Werdum”.

UFC officials announced the addition of some intriguing bouts during today’s press-conference. (Replay HERE)

In lightweight action, Diego Sanchez will face Norman Park, and in welterweight action Kelvin Gastelum will take on Jake Ellenberger.

The two bouts will be featured on the pay-per-view portion of the card.

UFC 180: Velasquez vs. Werdum is set to go down from the Arena Mexico on November 15.

The event will also play host to the “TUF Latin America” Finale, where the first Mexican Ultimate Fighter winners will be crowned.

Here’s the UFC 180 card thus far:

  • Champ Cain Velasquez vs. Fabricio Werdum – for UFC heavyweight title
  • Jake Ellenberger vs. Kelvin Gastelum
  • Norman Parke vs. Diego Sanchez
  • Dennis Bermudez vs. Ricardo Lamas
  • Marcus Brimage vs. Erik Perez
  • Augusto Montano vs. opponent TBA
