The former UFC bantamweight champion has been sitting idle on the sidelines for over two-years while the UFC and his division have slowly moved past him.
Undefeated as a bantamweight, Cruz, was/is arguably the best 135 pound fighter on the planet, but after multiple injuries the former champ is just done talking.

Cruz was scheduled to face Renan Barao at UFC 169 before he was plagued with another fight canceling injury. Once out, the UFC opted to hand over the UFC bantamweight title to Barao.
