Dana White Already Has Plans For McGregor’s First Title Defense

The fight hasn’t even happened yet but according to UFC president Dana White, he’s already made plans for Conor McGregor’s first title defense.

White spoke on the NRL Footy Show and mentioned that he already tole the Irishman that if he beats Jose Aldo at UFC 194, on Dec. 12, then he’ll get to defend his belt for the first time at Dublin’s Croke Park, a massive stadium capable of holding 80,000 fans.

McGregor has been calling for that venue for a while and now it looks like all he has to do is beat one of the best fighters in the world to get it.

Here’s what White said:

“If he beats Jose Aldo in Las Vegas in December, the next fight will be in Croke Park. We told him he could defend his title at Croke Park.”

The Aldo vs. McGregor fight has been building for quite some time and is sure to get even bigger as the date approaches.
