Daley Wants Fight With GLORY Champ Nieky Holzken –– ‘I’ll Beat Him In His Own Country’

By BJPENN.COM News - October 2, 2015

Bellator MMA welterweight Paul Daley and GLORY kickboxing welterweight champion Nieky Holzken have been linked for a while.

Currently, Holzken is waiting for his next challenger, which is supposed to be determined after the GLORY 25 MILAN Welterweight Contender Tournament. However, a fight between himself and Daley was rumored to be set up for the big Bellator ‘Dynamite,’ but ultimately did not happen.

Instead Daley fought a fellow Bellator fighter in a kickboxing match, and won. The GLORY contender tournament doesn’t go down until Nov. and Daley sees no reason to wait that long and is once again throwing some heat at Holzken.

In a message he sent to BloodyElbow, Daley had this to say:

“F%$& Holzken, he’s a b*%^$, said he wants to fight me, then say I need to win a tournament when I accept, I will fight him in his country, and beat him!!”

Would you like to see Daley compete for a GLORY title, or just stick to MMA? I guess, he could also look to hold titles in both, if each promotion allowed it, which would be pretty cool.

Thoughts?
