Cris Cyborg On Marina Shafir: ‘I Think She Wants Attention’
Ronda Rousey’s friend and training partner Marina Shafir recently signed to Invicta FC, home of current featherweight champion Cris Cyborg.
Last week during an interview Shafir said she didn’t think a fight between the two of them would happen soon, since she still needs to earn the right to fight for the title, but that eventually she would fight and beat Cyborg.
Cyborg responded, saying this to MMAfighting
“I think she wants attention. I’m the featherweight champion and we will absolutely meet, but first she needs to start winning and get on the line, because she only has two fights and got knocked out by Amanda Bell in 30 seconds in her last fight.”
