Donald Cerrone may be one of the toughest individuals to ever step foot in the octagon. “Cowboy” is currently riding a gigantic wave of momentum in the form of an eight fight win streak.
His most recent victory against John Makdessi at UFC 187 secured him a shot at the UFC Lightweight Championship, which is currently in the possession of an injured Rafael dos Anjos. The problem lies within Cerrone’s urge to stay active in the octagon; Dos Anjos could be nursing his injury until February and Cerrone does NOT want to wait that long:
“@DStandridge92: Looks like u probably won't fight until February. !” I will not wait that long. Need something soon or I'm going to 170
