Cormier and Gustafsson Have Cringeworthy Twitter Feud

The UFC light heavyweight title will be on the line this Saturday when the champ Daniel Cormier takes on Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192.

It will be Cormier’s first title defense, since defeating Anthony Johnson to win the belt. Gustafsson will be challenging for the title for the second time, after coming up short in his first attempt against former champ Jon Jones.

The two have had some fun exchanges back and forth, with Cormier doing most of the talking, poking fun at Gustafsson for people always talking about his loss to Jones instead of any of his wins.

Their latest twitter feud is quite a strange one. If I had to guess, I would assume that in some way the feud itself was sponsored by ‘Halo 5.’

The two went back and forth, hitting each other with Halo references and using the hashtag #Halo5.

Would this be the first time a feud is sponsored? If so, let’s hope it’s the last.
