Carlos Condit is currently gearing up for his UFC 195 title shot against UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler on January 2nd.

There are certainly exciting things happening at the Jackson-Winkeljohn gym in Albuquerque New Mexico, where Condit trains, specifically Holly Holm winning the UFC women’s bantamweight championship.

Condit spoke on MMAJunkie Radio to discuss why he finds inspiration in Holm’s win over Ronda rousey.

“Definitely inspired. Holly put on an amazing performance and I’m just so proud of her. The fight was awesome, but she’s an inspiring person to be around in the gym.”

“She trains as hard or harder than anyone else, and there’s a lot of that (at Jackson-Winkeljohn’s MMA). We’ve got a really cool thing going on, and she’s a big part of that.”
