Coach Ludwig Predicting A Team Alpha Male Sweep At UFC on FOX 9 This Weekend

By BJPENN.COM News - December 11, 2013

Team Alpha Male is showing out this weekend in Sacramento, California.

In their hometown, four of the world-renowned team’s fighters will be competing on UFC on FOX 9.

Joseph Benavidez is competing in the main event for the UFC flyweight title, Urijah Faber fights for a contender slot against Michael McDonald in the co-main event, Chad Mendes looks to make history against Nick Lentz and Danny Castillo has a tough test against Edson Barboza.

Each fighter has a tall order come fight night, but their head coach, Duane Ludwig is predicting a clean sweep from his all-star cast of fighters.

Check it, from ‘The MMA Hour’:

“I think it’s a tighter knit team now. A bit more structure. More guidelines and goals. The goal is to see a little bit of an improvement each and every class. I just want to get them better. Of course, the main goal is to get the belt, and to get them wins, but the main thing that I look for is just little improvements each and every day.”

“It’s going to end with Benavidez knocking him (Johnson) out in the fourth round. Urijah is going to choke (Michael) McDonald. Mendes is going to knock out (Nik) Lentz, and Danny Castillo is going to win a decision against (Edson) Barboza.”
