BJPENN.com Radio Recap With Johnny Case And Emanuel Newton

By BJPENN.COM News - September 8, 2014

In case you missed BJPENN.com Radio this past Sunday night, you can catch up on the interviews with Johnny Case, and Bellator MMA champion Emanuel Newton right here!

First up on the show was Johnny Case, who was scheduled to make his UFC debut earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 44, but was unfortunately bumped off the card due to an eye injury that needed treating. Case is one of the hottest up and coming prospects, and currently holds a 8-fight win streak, which he will ride into his UFC debut at Kazuki Tokudome at UFC Fight Night Japan on September 20th. ‘Hollywood’ spoke about what it’s like training at Alliance MMA with fighters like Dominick Cruz, and his mentor, Jeremy Stephens.

Next up was Bellator MMA champion Emanuel Newton, who will be defending his Bellator MMA light heavyweight championship against Joey Beltran this Saturday at Bellator 124. Newton spoke about how fatherhood has allowed him to show his softer side to his fans. Newton also spoke about the Stephan Bonnar-Tito Ortiz confrontation that occurred at Bellator 123, and how he believes the altercation wasn’t staged. Fight fans can learn a lot about the humble and respectful Bellator champion from his interview on the show.
