Our first guest might have one of the wildest stories on how he got to this point in his career. Jason “The Mover” South wasn’t a high school football player, he didn’t wrestle, he was just a normal guy. It wasn’t until he was 30 that he first stepped onto the mat and that was because his mother in-law bought him a one month pass. Jason weighed 215 lbs and his first class was getting owned by another 135 lb student, let’s just say that was it he was hooked. Jason since that day has gone on to amass a 10-0 record finishing every opponent he’s faced. Now Jason is making his MFC debut with a lot riding on this fight, not only will Jason put his undefeated record on the line, but the MFC World Middleweight Championship will also be on the line when he steps into the ring against Sam Alvey. We will talk to Jason about training with some of the baddest men in Utah, getting ready for the big stage, how he’s changed since his fight on TUF 16, and much more. Get over to Twitter and follow Jason @JasonKSouth

Our next guest not only walked away with the first ever win in the MFC Bantamweight division in his last fight, but with his upcoming fight he won the fan vote to headline MFC 38 and a chance to become the first ever MFC Bantamweight Champ. Anthony Birchak is back on the show and if you remember we had him on before his last fight. We will talk with Anthony about not only fighting and winning the first ever Bantamweight match up in MFC history and now getting a shot as the first Bantamweight Champ in the promotions history. Anthony is set to take on Tito Jones at MFC 38 on October 4th, Anthony’s opponent is coming into the match up dubbed the Veteran but with only a few fights separating the two I don’t know if that could be the case. We will discuss if Anthony thinks his opponents experience will be a factor in this fight, how he feels about Tito saying the fight won’t last if he stands toe to toe with him, and his chance at becoming the new champ. Follow Anthony on Twitter @ABirchakMMA

It wouldn’t be right to do a Maximum Fighting Championship show without having the man behind the show on. Mark Pavelich kicks off the second hour and you know you are in store for a treat anytime the Godfather of Canadian MMA is in the Barber Shop. MFC is putting it all on the line at MFC 38 with 3 title fights happening on October 4th, 2013. We will talk to Mark about the card and have him give us his thoughts on the 3 title fights and what led him and the team to have 3 title fights all happen on the same night. Mark also allowed the fans to decide which order the title fights would take place on the card. This is the first time that Mark has allowed the fans to chose the order of a card and we will talk to him about the thought behind this. Another first going down on the card is the inaugural 135 lb title fight. We will discuss with Mark bringing in a new weight class and the work that goes with adding new weight classes and fighters to the MFC. So much to talk to Mark about and so little time, you don’t want to miss this interview and make sure to follow Mark on Twitter @MarkPavelich

Last week Ricky Lundell opened the show and he was such an amazing guest we had to bring him back this week to close the show… So if you find yourself asking who Ricky Lundell is either A) You’re living under a rock, or B) You didn’t listen to last weeks show. Well Ricky has the honor of being the youngest North American to received a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu (he’s now a second degree black belt.) Lundell is also a two-time Pancrase World Champion and an Absolute Pancrase World Champion, oh he has also taken gold in the FILA World Grappling Championship, TWICE! Ricky is the 1st D-1 Wrestler to ever be recruited having only Jiu-Jitsu/Submission Grappling experience and no folkstyle match experience. This week we aren’t talking to Ricky about his resume, we are talking to Ricky about his time on this season of The Ultimate Fighter as a coach for Team Tate. We will talk to Ricky about getting the call for his second season as a coach, leaving his gym to do the show, and how it was different to work with men and women on this season, but before that happens get over to Twitter and follow Ricky on Twitter @Rickylundell
