Bisping vs. Kennedy Targeted For ‘TUF Nations’ Finale Event

By BJPENN.COM News - January 20, 2014

While not officially booked, a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Tim Kennedy is currently in the planning stages for a headlining slot at the ‘TUF Nations’ Finale event.

Details are still sparse on this booking, but the TUF Nations finale is expected to go down on April 16 in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada.

Bisping must first be medically cleared by the UFC in order to make this fight official.

Tim Kennedy, a Strikeforce import, has been making waves since nearly decapitating Rafael Natal at ‘UFC Fight For The Troops 3’. Ever since, the U.S. Military veteran has had his eyes set on a showdown with ‘The Count’.

Bisping, who is in the midst of recovering from a detached retina, has long-been entertaining a bout with his most vocal antagonist in Kennedy. With the UFC’s blessing Mike will have his return to action after what will be a year out of action come fight night.
