Bellator 140 Results: Daley Blasts His Way To A TKO Win


In the co-main event of the evening, fan favorite and heavy hitter Paul Daley took on Dennis Olson.

In the first Daley lands his first punch, a jab, and Olsen drops. Olsen gets to his feet quick, then goes for a takedown. He got the takedown. Daley manages to get to his feet, but Olsen keeps him in the clinch. Daley gets the trip takedown. Olsen goes for a triangle, but Daley stands up. Then he dives down with a big punch. They both stand and Olsen goes for another takedown but eats an uppercut instead. Olsen goes for another one and gets it. He tries for a choke but Daley defends, then Olsen goes or a guillotine and pulls guard. Daley slips right out and comes down with a big punch. Right at the end of the round Olsen catches Daley in an armbar, but fails to finish.

In the second round Olson came to with a lazy spin kick. Then he landed a body kick. Then things stopped going his way. Daley backed Olsen up to the cage and started unloading. He hurt Olsen who dropped. Daley stood over him and kept unloading punches. Olsen tried to get to his feet but was dropped again. The referee stepped in and stopped the fight.

RESULT: Daley wins via TKO at 1:12 of round 2
