In what will likely go down as the least competitive fight of the night, Julida Budd dominated Gabrielle Holloway for fifteen minutes. Holloway gained top control for a brief amount of time, but it was not long before Budd reversed it and made her pay for it.
As the judges’ decision was read, it was surprising to see someone give Budd only one 10-8 round. 30-25s across the board likely would have been reasonable.
