Apparently Cerrone & Pettis Lost TUF Coaching Gig Due To Pettis Injury | UFC NEWS

“[I’m] still recovering from shoulder surgery, and it’s taking longer than expected. I was hoping to get ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ gig because I was told it was me and [Donald] Cerrone coaching, and now it’s not happening. I’m just frustrated with everything, man… I’m hoping to return in January.”

According to the rising lightweight, Anthony Pettis, he and Donald Cerrone were slated to get the TUF 17 coaching slot prior to the Jones and Sonnen booking.

As he explains it to mmafighting.com, an injury forced the lightweight due out of the coaching positions and into a potential fight in January.

Pettis vs. Cerrone or Jones vs. Sonnen – which duo makes for better TV?
