A heavyweight bout featuring Stefan Struve taking on Jared Rosholt is the latest addition to November’s UFC 193 pay-per-view event in Australia.
UFC officials announced the booking earlier today.
Stefan Struve (26-7 MMA) was most recently seen in action earlier this month at the UFC 190 event in Brazil, where he earned a unanimous decision victory over MMA legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Prior to the victory, the “Skyscraper” was coming off a knockout loss which he suffered to former Strikeforce title holder Alistair Overeem at the UFC on FOX 13 event in December of 2014. Struve has gone 10-5 while fighting under the UFC banner.
Meanwhille, Jared Rosholt (13-2 MMA) will be looking to extend his current win streak to three in a row when he squares off with Struve down under. “The Big Show” was most recently seen in action earlier this month at UFC Fight Night 73, where he earned a decision victory over Timothy Johnson. Rosholt has gone 5-1 while fighting under the UFC banner, with his lone loss coming to Alexey Oleinik via first-round KO.
UFC 193 goes down November 15 live from Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia. The event is headlined by a welterweight title fight featuring current champ Robbie Lawler taking on top contender Carlos Condit.
