On This Day: Carlos Condit defeats Nick Diaz, becomes interim champion

It was on this day 4 years ago that Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz fought for the UFC interim welterweight champion.
The bout was set up after GSP withdrew from his UFC 143 bout with Diaz due to a torn ACL. The UFC ultimately replaced GSP with Condit, and made the bout an interim championship fight.
To date, the fight is still one of the most disputed bouts in UFC history. Condit was ultimately awarded the judges decision however many believe that Diaz should have been awarded the decision and the interim welterweight championship.
