Israel Adesanya sounds off on UFC middleweight contender Dricus Du Plessis: “Who the f**k is this cracker to tell me who I am?”

Israel Adesanya is continuing to take shots at Dricus Du Plessis.

Adesanya and Du Plessis have been going back and forth about the two being African fighters as Du Plessis considers himself “the real” African fighter of the UFC. That did not sit well with Adesanya who said he wants to eventually drag Du Plessis’ carcass across South Africa.

Now, speaking on his YouTube channel, Israel Adesanya revealed that he spoke to the UFC in an attempt to try and make the fight happen. Yet, Du Plessis was ultimately booked to face Robert Whittaker in a number one contenders bout instead. With that, ‘The Last Stylebender’ says he is rooting for Du Plessis to win as he wants that to be his next opponent.

“I’m going to f*****g take him to school, in the Octagon and on history,” Adesanya said. “What he’s doing is creating divide. You can’t know your history, I have never questioned him as an African, because yeah, you were born in Africa. South Africa. Of course you’re an African. I have never questioned that. But who the f**k is this cracker to tell me who the f**k I am? Who the f**k Kamaru is, who the f**k Ngannou is? I’m like, are you dumb? As a product of colonization, you’re trying to tell me who the f**k I am.

“You can take the boy out of Africa, but you can never take the Africa out of the boy,” Adesanya continued. “I never, ever did that to him. I never discredited him as an African. Okay, there you are. Cool. You want to make a fight? Cool. But the fact that as a f*****g cracker, to tell me who the f**k I am, that pissed me off, and that’s why he’s my next fight. I don’t want to fight anyone else. This one pisses me off.”

As mentioned, Du Plessis is set to take on Robert Whittaker at UFC 290 in July. Dana White announced the winner will face Israel Adesanya later this year, which the champ is looking forward to.
